Into The Gardens
Illumination Begonia Rose. Rose Julia Child. Bergenia. Chives.
It’s that time of year again when you just want to pinch yourself because it’s so warm, so sunkissed, and so beautiful with whimsical blooms. If only every moment was a summer afternoon. The best part of growing up on a farm was wandering through the blossom-kissed rows of apple trees, walking through the humid greenhouses that bloomed every summer, and accidentally stumbling over snakes, rodents, and other critters who loved to take advantage of the natural habitat that the farm provides. At times I wished I loved horticulture and gardening just so I could surround myself with pretty blooms every spring and summer. Unfortunately, the green thumb did not get passed onto me and somehow I kill everything that I try to grow. Guess I will forever be designing crappy magazines and writing shitty novels that hit the burn pile once a year… In the meantime, enjoy the bloomy snaps provided by Jan’s Hanging Gardens.
When you’re feeling blue and need a little sunshine, enjoy a floret farm in the northwest. Just a little beauty among the dirt…
