When a sunkissed afternoon on the coast feels better then a homegrown winter.
During the long, bitter months of the north, I often remember those warm, breezy weekends at the beach when everything felt so perfect. At times, I wanted to pinch myself because it seemed too good to be true, though some would instantly dismiss the serene aesthetics as too humid, too far away, and not their comfortable little bubble. But the simpler life complimented my laidback approach and I realized how uptight, stressed, and unhappy I was living elsewhere, even in my hometown. Strange, the places that inspire. Whenever I need a little sunshine, I pinch myself and remember what was. Someday it will be home ~ Paperwaif
