Imagine. Draft. Create.
For years I have been snapping photos of sunsets, mountains, and clouds, clouds being one of my favorites, especially following a storm. Lavender ice cream or a pastel Schnauzer? Unfortunately, my current landscapes stir up a bunch of dust and create puffy eyes, stuffy noses, and unpleasantly dry skin. Not a good thing for those with allergies. I’m terribly afraid I’ll walk out the door, catch a whiff of the freshly cut grass that makes me break out along with the dust in the air, and sneeze, triggering the glares. Miss the east coast dearly, where allergies were nonexistent for me. I now remember why the west and I are completely incompatible. The wonderful years of little oxygen to my brain cells, making me feel stoned and dead to the world were unbearable.
Dust aside, I decided I needed a little pick me up while in this hazy daze of strange times and huge to-do list. Very happy to be fifty pages in with my new novel, the follow-up to Miss Mannequin. Paperwaif.com is in the middle of major construction to better suit myself and guests. My excerpt and preview pages for my novels are completed while my Style Files and Paperwaif Shop are still in construction. This grueling process takes awhile since I am the shittiest happiness engineer on this planet – forget memorizing the dictionary, memorize css in your downtime. When you feel like bashing your computer every five minutes, it’s time walk away and admire the whimsical clouds.
