Nineties Noir: Brainstorming

While finishing my final edit on my latest novel, I have begun my next digital publication, Nineties Noir. I purposely avoid holidays since I never know when I have the time to complete a guide. I rarely even follow the seasons despite knowing you’re always supposed to be a season ahead.

That said, with Nineties Noir I chose to fall back on a decade that felt like the final goodbye to music, movies, and decent relations, though I’m sure my parents felt the same about the 60’s and 70’s. Fondly, I remember flannel shirts, Dr. Martens, and too much glitter.

I also remember being a free spirit, not following the crowd, and not having to take a selfie every five seconds. Miss those days…To begin a guide, I always pull together photos, draw sketches, and write a long outline of what will be featured. Here are a few picks so far ~ Paperwaif
